1. The service
DrunkDriver connects users who need a designated driver with vetted drivers. The driver operates the user’s vehicle to take them to a destination. Real terms must address liability allocation, insurance, indemnification, and dispute resolution.
2. User responsibilities
User represents that the vehicle is registered, insured, and in safe operating condition, and that user is the owner or has authority to permit operation by another driver. Real terms must address what happens when these representations are false.
3. Liability and insurance
This section requires legal counsel. Insurance allocation between user’s personal auto policy, our commercial policy, and driver coverage is the most important section in this document and must reflect the actual policies in place.
4. Payments and refunds
Fares are charged to the payment method on file when the ride completes. Refund requests are reviewed case-by-case via the in-app support system.
5. Account termination
We may terminate accounts for cause including suspected fraud, safety concerns, or violation of these terms. Users may delete their account at any time via the support system.
